Background
When it comes to its Addressing Requirements / Requirements for Mailing Addresses Canada Post has rules for how addresses should be written so that machines can sort mail efficiently. If you follow these rules, your mail will get processed and delivered much more quickly. Large Canadian businesses and government agencies already adhere to these standards when mailing to citizens.
