A.J. McKee began his professional career in 2015. His journey to the Featherweight Grand Prix win started in 2019, where he fought and defeated Georgi Karakhanyan, Derek Campos, and Darrion Caldwell. In the finals, he took on "Pitbull" and secured the victory and the $1 million prize with a submission.
"Pitbull" also made his professional debut in 2004 and has been with Bellator since 2010. A two-time featherweight and a one-time lightweight champion, he boasts the most wins in the organization's history, among other records.

Corey Anderson, a winner of The Ultimate Fighter 19 in 2014, made a 10-5 record with the UFC before his last bout in 2020, where he lost to Jan Blachowicz. Since joining Bellator, he's won all three fights, including victories over Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov and Ryan Bader in the Grand Prix.
