Shipping timeframes
We do our best to get your items to you quickly, using different shipping companies depending on the item size, your location, and the seller. To track your order, follow these easy steps.
Tracking information and delivery updates
Don't worry if your tracking information hasn't updated in a while - this is normal and the information will be updated soon. For more information on shipping precautions and large item deliveries, click here.
Large items and scheduling delivery
Large or heavy items like TVs, appliances, mattresses, and fitness equipment are scheduled for delivery based on your shipping address. In major urban areas, you can schedule a preferred delivery date during checkout. For remote areas, a delivery carrier will call you within 7 days to schedule a delivery date. Please note that delivery costs may vary based on location, and a signature is required for all scheduled deliveries.
Marketplace orders and pre-orders
Every Marketplace seller has different shipping timelines, and pre-order release dates can change without notice. For more information, check out the product page for seller policies.
Missed delivery
If you missed a delivery that requires a signature, you'll receive a delivery notice card with instructions on where and when to pick up your order. For some items, the carrier may contact you to set a delivery appointment or confirm pickup. Don't forget to bring your order number and valid photo ID when picking up your item.
Is it possible to ship to a PO box?
Indeed, it is possible to ship to a PO box through Canada Post. In order to ensure that your orders arrive at their intended destination, kindly provide a physical street address or highway number along with your order when shipping to rural route addresses or PO boxes. For items weighing over 30kg, you will only be able to collect them at your local courier pick-up depot.
It is important to note that oversized items, items scheduled for delivery, and dangerous goods (such as pressurized CO2 canisters and batteries) cannot be shipped to a PO box and must have a civic address.
What should I do if my package gets lost?
In the unfortunate circumstance that your package gets lost, you can contact our Customer Service team by calling 1-866-237-8289, and we will start a trace with the applicable carrier on your behalf, provided you are eligible.
Additionally, it is important to note that claims must be lodged within 90 days of shipment. While Canada Post will not initiate claims on your behalf, the Best Buy customer experience team can do so.
