SCENE points can be used for a wider variety of purposes going forward. For as long as the member keeps a Scene-eligible Scotiabank product, they will remain valid. After 24 months of inactivity on the Scene account, points will be forfeited. This product has been discontinued.
From the perspective of a former SCENE participant, here is how the incentives have changed:
Your points can be redeemed for travel expenses such as airfare, hotel stays, and rental cars.
You can spend $5 with 500 points at any of the above establishments.
A movie ticket can be purchased for anywhere from 1,250 to 2,000 points, depending on whether it's for general admission, 3D, UltraAVX, IMAX, premium seating, a D-Box, or a VIP screening.
