Making a conference call on iPhone with a maximum of 5 participants
Did you know that your iPhone has the capability to engage in conference calls with up to five participants, including yourself? Exciting, right? Not only that, but you can also have private conversations with individual participants or exclude certain individuals from the call if needed. So, let's dive into everything you need to know about conducting conference calls on your iPhone.
Initiating a conference call on your iPhone
1. Begin by opening the Phone app and placing a call to your first participant as you normally would.
2. Once the call is connected, inform your participant that they will be placed on a brief hold while you proceed to dial the next person.
3. Tap the "add call" option located underneath the "+" icon.

6. If you want to include more individuals in the conference call, simply repeat the process outlined above: tap "add call," place the call, and merge it with the ongoing call. Please note that the number of participants you can add may be subject to limitations imposed by your carrier.
Important note: In case you do not see an "add call" button on your iPhone, put the first caller on hold and then use the keypad to call the next participant. Finally, tap "merge calls" to combine them.
You also have the option to add someone who is calling you to a conference call that is already in progress. When the incoming call arrives, tap "Hold & Accept," and subsequently tap "merge calls."

Managing your conference call on iPhone
Once your conference call is underway, you have the ability to engage in private conversations with specific participants and disconnect callers individually.
To accomplish this, simply tap the blue "i" icon located at the top-right corner of the screen. This will display a list of all the participants on the call, accompanied by buttons that allow you to end the call or initiate private conversations.
Within the list of call participants, tap "End" to disconnect that person from the call or "Private" to start a private conversation. Dave Johnson/Insider.
It's worth noting that only the person who initiated the conference call can access the complete list of callers. If you joined the call but did not initiate it, you will only see the individuals you have added to the call.
