The Tokyo Olympics, which had been postponed a year due to the pandemic, have finally arrived, much to the delight of sports fans everywhere.
Less than two weeks remain until the start of the largest sporting event ever, in which over 2,000 athletes representing over 200 countries will compete in 33 separate events.
Before now, the Olympic flame would have arrived in the country that is hosting the games. e Japan, as the 2020 Summer Olympics are about to begin in Tokyo. You should read this if you live in Canada and are planning on watching the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

Location & Host of the 2021 Summer Olympics
Tokyo, Japan, will play host to the Summer Olympics in 2021. However, the official name of the event is Tokyo Olympics 2020.
The Olympics will take place at Tokyo's National Stadium, which will also host the opening and closing ceremonies. The National Stadium in Tokyo will also host the athletics (track and field) and women's football competitions.
The Tokyo, Japan Olympic Games will begin on July 23, 2021, and run through August 8, 2021. It is estimated that over 11,000 athletes will compete in the 2016 Olympics.
