Is fraud a concern with these gift cards? I still remember those terrifying stories of gift card balances being drained because criminals cloned the cards before purchase.

However, they could potentially cut in from another edge and rejoin. Just be cautious.

  • Good to use as a GAS card when driving on Ontario's 400-series highways.
  • Yes, but your mileage may vary.
  • Occasionally, a gas station will deny them, and there's nothing we can do.
  • Edit: During the recent gift card rush, Canadian Tire gift cards were visible on the table.

Question posted by an anonymous user: Can we earn CTM with gift cards? For instance, get CTM by spending $30.

This card is great for those traveling on the 400 series highways in Ontario and can be used as a GAS card. Wow, I had no idea! If you happen to be reading this, it means I either upvoted or downvoted your post because I care about your contribution. So, consider yourself lucky to have your thread bumped.

Whereas badconnection believes that you can use the card as long as you scan your membership card. But they are unsure if they will receive CTM if they scan their card first and pay with a return card.

On the other hand, WhiteWolf19 is a Newbie with 60 posts and 62 upvotes as of February 21st, 2023 at 2:09 pm. They mentioned that the card is made with Fair Trade Shea Butter and is cruelty-free, which is why they will be buying it. Hopefully, it feels as nice on their hands as it looks in the wallet.

Last but not least, lovethesales is a Sr. Member with 534 posts and 293 upvotes from Toronto as of February 21st, 2023 at 2:16 pm. They acknowledged WhiteWolf19's comment about the card being cruelty-free and made with Fair Trade Shea Butter.

I inquire if the discounted price is applicable only for $50 CAD, or does it apply to every $50 spent?

Does the number of gift cards one can use per transaction have a limit in-store or online?

Are there any fraud issues with these gift cards? I remember coming across stories where the gift card balance was emptied because scammers cloned the gift cards before purchase.

I had lost about after visiting a CT Gas station. Although it could be a coincidence, I never lost money after using that card more than once at other stores.

I'm unsure if one can receive CTM when paying with a gift card after scanning the CT card.

I'm disappointed since I just bought the Select membership.

One cannot use Canadian Tire gift cards online. In-store, there should not be a limit; I have used 3 return cards before.
